Watched jack play against werribee last year , his first half was awesome had the ball on a string,, clearance after clearance, then he did his calf, was not sighted again till he played round 22,, the rest is history,, he definitely can, find the ball, in our current structure, his role is defense, pressure ,tackling, over summer they will up his work load, and he will become a ball gathererer, again , with his desire to tackle and harass, next year we will see jack go to a new level
Well he needs to get that ball finding ability back, because he doesn't do enough otherwise. Instinct tells me he can find the ball, but it seems the coaches are more intent on him finding the man i.e pressure acts. Both he and Conca regressed as the season went, both inside mids who lost their hard edge as the season went on.

He's 20 years old and played 23 games. I think he's going along nicely.

Definatley can be a star.
He played very well against Freo when Cotch was out and Graham stood up
Dont rate that game at all really, it was open slather against a slack freo, jack played as a pure mid and looked ok, his opponent neale got it about 48 times.

I will withhold my judgment until this time next season (Hopefully going into the Grannie).

He needs a bloody big pre season , needs to add a trick or two , watch how cotch plays the game. Is well and truly at cross roads , right now in my books he s not a senior player , if we played next week, I’d have Lloyd ahead of him. Simply can’t justify a starting mid that gets it fewer than 10times when oppo is running riot with 30plus. Hope the kid can get there

**** me.

Our number one pressure player in his second season. Before the injury in the Adelaide game, was going nicely.

Is one of our most important players already. Hard as nails, doesn’t stop putting the pressure on.

Can’t wait for him to have a full pre season and a big 2019.

Don't understand his knockers either. Can we have this conversation in 2020 - he's tracking so far ahead atm.

Unfortunately he needs to have shoulder surgery does he not in the off season ?

I rate him. He's not a fast/flashy type. He seems a natural leader and goes in a lot harder than most of the others in the team. I think he needs to work more on his tank - which is fairly normal at his age.
Seems like he will be a very solid player that plays a part in getting the ball forward. Can also rest up forward.
only his second year, but will need to develop some consistency.

he better not come back after Christmas fat this time. Pull your head in J.Graham and work your ass off this summer. RFC needs you.

need to find someone else to play his defensive role so we can free him up as the damaging inside mid he naturally is, before dimma coaches the talent out of him

Agree with this when let of the leash can attack forward we have see that in games and kicks goals. To good for the defensive jobs.Suprised why we didn't give him more freedom.Only thing maybe needs to trim down a bit.

It'll happen. We did the same thing with Lambert early on before we gave him a more positive role. Get the feeling we're gonna have to given our lack of grunt and sh*tful clearance and stoppage numbers.

Need Jack to start getting his hands on the ball more , he won the best player at the under 18 champs so he must have found it a bit then !
