He would most likely fumble his cock if he tried to.

You better watch a replay because he was horrible when the ball was on the ground.
First game back after injury. Cut him some slack.

Im sure you do for others, so why not for JMac? Haters are gonna be haters.

Hansen had a tough first game back, but look how well he did tonight. You are always quick to slag off someone who underperforms, more than most!!

Serviceable. Didnt notice him. Didnt see any defining acts.
Wasnt carried but then maybe thats his niche to do the working class stuff.

Give him next week. Maybe he can shut down Hill.
That **** up by drawing the man and then giving it when it was too late to Boomer was just *******ism at its finest.

he certainly wasn't bad but he wasn't fantastic either. I feel like passage of play where he sold Boomer into trouble with a terrible handball on the wing only to throw his body into the contest in a fantastic second effort was his night and maybe even his career in microcosm.

He had no opponent he was loose on the wing ?!?!?! He was horrible, 13 nothing possessions playing loose on the wing, you are easily pleased.
In the last q was on melksham. Got beaten in a one on one after a ziebell high ball - goal. Then melksham got it 3 more times in the first 5 mins. Not to mention the ball between the legs earlier - goal. Looked underdone not surprisingly. I am really disturbed about hiw easily he gets a game especially when it means dropping wood. At least hes away from the arm waving role down back. Against hawthorn he kept screaming at thompson about something. Then macmillan makes an error. The other backs cant rate that. If you are the screaming " general" you cant be leaking goals

Unfortunately this line will sum up his career

Bit harsh Sherm......
I can't see his ceiling getting any higher than what it is now. In fact I said this about 2 yrs ago and got absolutely BBQ'd for it.
He seems like a top bloke and I have no doubt he tries every game but unfortunately in any elite sport you need more than those qualities to be successful.

I actually thought he was in the best form of any of our players last year before he broke his leg. Those sorts of injuries take time to come back from. Have a look at how long Ziebell took. He deserves a chance. He's a good size, moves okay, and with some games under his belt I can see him getting back to his best, which is very good.

I'm unclear why you seem to feel vindicated on his selection? As other posters have mentioned, he made some terrible mistakes as usual and his opponents h
Not sure why you feel vindicated, his work rate was nowhere near what we require of our wingmen. As I said, he did just OK, made some terrible blues as usual. The non contest he put in from Ziebell's centre clearance to the wing was typical of him - no acceleration to make the contest when we really needed one and it resulted in an Essendon goal. He needs to stop his confected lleadership crap and focus on eliminating his own putrid farts.

Hahahaha mate if you went through and analysed every players game you would find mistakes from all. Spitta had some unbelievably bad forward entries, Taz turned it over twice, Ziebs as was pointed out quite angrily on the GDT by many hacked it out if the centre a few too many times and turned it over..... One of which was the hack that went straight to Melkstain....
JMac attacked the contest, he was solid in defense and provided a valuable link up option. The hate for JMac on here is self serving rubbish.

I'm not sure what your hahahas are about, it's not funny, he didn't play all that well, don't kid yourself. The difference is that Swallow made 10 tackles, including in a one on one, something Macmillan fails at time and time again. And Jack's clearance should have been contested - anyone at the game could see that - plus, think Jack probably jjust shaded Macmillan for influence on the game - Ummm only by a whisker. As for self serving comments, none of this serves my interests - I just want to see our best 22 play - he's not in that category atm.

The hahahaha's are because I find it genuinely hilarious....
Oh and by the way JMac is absolutely in our best 22.... When available he plays, history shows that. You are aware he played last night aren't you??? By definition that means he was in the best 22.

I would have liked to have seen JMac come back via the Two's to get his match fitness up before being played but he's played so pointless dropping him now. Having said that I can't believe that so many posters don't rate him. Yes he has to improve in some areas but so do all of our players but for some reason he polarises supporters.

He's going to be a very good footballer when gets over his injuries.

Better than two weeks ago, but still ordinary, both in defence and attack. Gets scrutinised for the defensive aspect more because it costs cheap goals.

Needs to impact the game more when playing a link role.

Hope he proves me wrong about not being best 22 because he comes across as s good bloke.
