Enjoy carrying the baton amid the rage Phillyroo, although your fanship has bordered on fanboyship with JMac.

Credit where it's due. Jamie was unsighted 1st half but critically influential I'm the 2nd. I'd just like to see this sort of influence more often (and while it was a big influence, it wasn't quite Nat Fyfe-like)

Yep jmac was terrible in the first half but be careful you will upset phillyroo :p
Been there - done that :thumbsu:
Oh I'm not upset...
Just find the anti-whomeveristhecurrentwhippingboy thing just bloody tiresome. So thought that those that rain down the criticism and vitriol can wear a nice shower of praise and fanboy coming right back at them.

JMac is a personal fave of mine and my boy's so it does feel good that he played such a huge part in today's win.

JMac was putrid in the first half. Much better in the third and then better again in the fourth.

Ziebell was better than him over the course of the game. But it's a much improved effort from Jamie.
Putrid is over the top, and outstanding after half time... But yes Jack was our best on the day. Missy, boomer and JMac were important though.

Yeah, liked his game vs WCE, but gee, he needs to produce that many, many times over the coming years to repay the faith shown in him. That needs to be his norm, not the exception.

Played out of love for those that could not make it down there.

But according to Darcy he had been in and out of the team past year or so...idiot.
Darcy came off the interchange bench to replace Baz I think?

That's the reverse of going from boiled lollies to stale bread. Don't even think about the chocolates.

Just watching the replay, this talk of him being rubbish in the first half is just plain wrong.
As for him needing to do it far more times to repay the faith shown in him.... Honestly piss off! The dude is a good player, and has been for three years. He is getting back to the form he is capable of after a long injury lay off.

He has the makings of a great modern day midfielder. Good size, good skills, can take a mark and a goal kicker as well.
Just needs consistency, but I feel he will take the next step this season. He was going great early last year, before that broken leg.
