Where do you come up with this s**t, he has consistently played well this year, worked his way back in after an injury. It’s obvious that he and Shaw are close. He is as safe as houses to be at North next year. One of the first picked.
Lets see wheres hes at after the years done.. the defence is running on fumes
You may not like the way he plays but at least have some respect for a guy who gives his all for the club.Because he is named in the back pocket?
He's done. Have a look at the circle at the end of the game - he's looking around for a pat on the back, trying to see if the coach is looking at him, attempting to garner attention. Nothing came his way.
Very insecure man is jmac given he is 6'2, 95kegs and has no visible axe wounds.
Ahern playing well in his position was the final nail in his long overdue coffin. Should have been delisted/sacked in 2013 alongside Brad Scott if we were a ruthless organisation set up to win things which under Brad was simply not the case.
We will be fine, he is an irrelevance these days just keeping the seat warm for Ash or Young both of whom are already more complete players.
Shaw is clearly playing him to bump up his trade value.
The best footy we played this year was, wait for it, when this pretender was injured. The moment he came back in, we lost our hard edge and duly our season was over.
Since he came back in, we are 1-3, with a win over a hopeless Hawthorn.
You may not like the way he plays but at least have some respect for a guy who gives his all for the club.
Also re that 1-3 stat; there's 22 players picked and at some stage or another in all those games mistakes were made by all of them. Why single one out? Maybe you are just getting too personally involved and need to take a step back and chill.
Honestly, talking about anybody like that let alone a guy who's played 150 games for us.. no respect.
Why do I have to respect him or anyone for that matter? Live your own life the way you wish to live it don't force your way of life upon me.
Everyone starts on zero and works their way up to a potential of 100% respect in my world.
You be right, I have no respect for him at all.

Everyone starts on zero and works their way up to a potential of 100% respect in my world. And I'm quite happy with how that works for me, thanks.
Charming
Good news for you, with that attitude you’re still on zero in most peoples opinion. He’s played 150 games for us, how many have you played. Posts on BF don’t count. You be right, I have no respect for him at all.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt particularly with faceless online forums. To judge him just on his posts alone may be a bit harsh and he may not be a flog in real life. Perhaps the post was just to attract attention and not a reflection of his character. It's an online forum so aren't posts on BF exactly what you'd judge him on?
Its generally a thing that you respect people till they lose your respect isn't it? Just in general. Do you knock people out of their seats on public transport or walk around calling random people fu** wits in public cos they have funny looking heads?
I am however polite, punctual, I'm not a piss taker, I'm not violent and I donate money to good causes where possible and quite often make lunch for the homeless dude near my work.
If anyone is interested Quintero's online dating profile is pasted above.

It's his football judgement that matters, or as far as I'm concerned, doesn't matter.
Thanks for editing out the non football parts of quint's post that I took umbrage to mods.
I'm still going to call people out for accusing our club leaders of poor personality traits when I see it though.

Generally a thing to who, mate? That just opens you up to being burnt. When people achieve or act in a way the warrants respect, then they get it. As I said, to me, everyone starts on Zero and works their way to 100.
Every post or comment you or anyone make I treat in isolation. I don't condemn people for life because of one comment or action.
Generally speaking I have no time for people who go on and on and on about respect, it's none of my business what you think of me and to be frank I could not care less if you respect me or not. And I certainly won't be wasting any energy wondering if you do or dont. I am however polite, punctual, I'm not a piss taker, I'm not violent and I donate money to good causes where possible and quite often make lunch for the homeless dude near my work.
I don't do public transport Ferbs, it's a s**t show in Melbourne. Btw have you seen the prices for Uber Pool?

None of which matters around here.
It's his football judgement that matters, or as far as I'm concerned, doesn't matter.
I meant you in general not you specifically. None the less you obviously seem to treat people with respect if you don't know them. That's what i'm talking about. Politeness, not being rude, etc etc is all just basic respect, which is really recognising everyone is human like you and me and everyone of us will suffer and die at some point.
But treating people with respect doesn't open yourself up to being burnt. Making yourself vulnerable does that and I guess that's another issue.
Good on you for making the homeless dude lunch, unless you meant into lunch.
I feel every human being should have access to food, water and shelter. If it were up to me, I'd let the homeless sleep on on our basketball courts in winter and I'd put a BBQ on for them too, have some washing machines available for clothes and a pop up Centrelink/DHS office to assist with getting them Newstart or whatever service they were entitled to.
Not at all, have him in the scoobs and what value does that bring during trade period? inflating his value from a box of vics to a box of stone n wood is a win win.. tom murphy will be at half back next year unless someone else comes in! Tom has a dip, is 10X better by foot and is accountableThe thursday night team sheet that lists him every week, must have you splitting your sides with laughter.
