Fantastic news. 2 years is smart by both parties. If Dawson continues to rise he could be an absolute star in 2 years and will want a big pay day. Coincidently in 2 years Buddys contract will drop, opening up $500k in salary cap and a further $1m the year after. Club will have more than enough to pay him what he deserves.

Really excited to see what he can become over the next 2 years and beyond.

Its been great seeing that potential we've seen for a few years finally translating into a run of 1st team football and him looking more at ease with it too. He'll hold his own over the next year or so. Happy with the signing as long as we didnt pay too much for him, we tend to splash cash after players string a few good games together.

So Dawson signed up for more two years despite the threat of Longmire continuing on as coach.
No, Dawson signed on for the security of playing for the side he loves playing for. All footballers that really want to continue their career do that, the ones that don’t leave!
