After griff stinking it up..McBean could not possibly worse. But better they play Lennon instead of griff. Vicks can ruck more.
 
Did he play last night?

Hard to see Griff getting a game this week. If Maric is out it's probably either Chappy or Bean.

I don't tend to look at one game, especially a practice match. Some of our big men get games after many poor performances. I think getting dropped because they aren't putting in might give them a rocket. Liam at least has shown that he can kick goals in the twos.

The thing is how many of those goals were from contested marks. Most of his goals came from smart work once the ball hit the ground. Everybody has been waiting for him to improve his marking but it's just not happening. Let's face it a 203 cm forward is going to be picked because of his ability overhead not his crumbing prowess.
Sounds as though work ethic is a issue too, a problem with several of our kpp's

Don't think he's done much in the other 2 practice matches either has he? Not that I've read. If so that's 3. We'll see what happens.

Well if that's the attitude at punt road for players who want a senior game I'd be disappointed. These are not games in February. It's April. The season has started.

Albert Einstein once defined insanity as doing the same the over and over again but expecting a different result. Griff has had plenty of opportunities to prove himself. I honestly don't know how McBean will go but he deserves a chance to show if he's up to it. Griff will struggle to be anything more than a depth player at a good club unfortunately.
