My only concern is he is almost identical to Vickery in application and output. Needs to really pick up his effort if he wants to make that spot a more permanent one.

I don't know if you really are in Hollywood, Goldy. If not, get to a VFL game to see our kids. There is some real talent there, under a good coach in McRae. We are having a down year. The team is in transition. A lot of the talent on our list is under 22, hence the gap between our best players and the rest. But soon enough the likes of Cellis, Menadue, Rioli, Lennon, Short, Castagna, Markov, Drummond, McBean and Chol will be regular senior players. They are more talented than the journeymen currently keeping them out, like Lambert, Hunt and others.

Whoever has made the calls on our drafting in the last two years has done well.

Brandon Ellis was never going to be elite, he doesn't handle the ball well enough.

Press conferences mean nothing. Listen to some of Sheedy's old ones. Talk about nonsense.

I have no idea what you're saying regarding the Titanic. Are you saying Hardwick is a quitter?

We have areas to improve and I'm not sure Hardwick is a premiership coach, but your posting is melodramatic.

McBean is a more talented and much smarter footballer than Vickery.

It's an area he knows he has to work on and he has (still a work in progress but he's working harder than Vickery currently). It's why he's been left out so long. We don't want another Vickery.

One bloke has played 2 afl games (1.5 actually) the other nearly 120. I say let's allow bean the last eight this year to see what signs he shows before we stamp his papers or have him walk out. I doubt he is the next power forward but if he can play the 2nd/3rd fwd and relief ruck he is a step up on Ty as he can barely play as a fwd and won't ruck.
 
Why do supporters who have no impact on the running o' the football club, "support" the club by pissing and moaning constantly?

This is right, but the fact there's only really one pure mid in there is a major concern. We've barely drafted any in recent years.

This would be the logical thing to do with 8 weeks to go and the season shot . TV should be totally out of the selectors head until he actually dominates three to four weeks of VFL .

I don't mind differing opinions but you'll find this place a lot better if you do what a lot of us do and put the insane ranters on ignore.

Who's the one pure mid? Ellis? How do you know none of the others are? What does 'pure mid' even mean? Menadue is a wingman. That's a midfielder. Drummond was a mid in juniors. Rioli I think will be a mid, and I think Lennon should be. But yes, let's get more mids, I agree.
