Both of those games played numbers are promising. Tarrant in particular hasn't really missed a beat coming back in off a limited run. Black could be off the charts, really an open book.
Most likely gave hime the chance to get 100% right. He looks completely unaffected from injury since he's been back. Moving so freely.

If we lost a player like Black i'd be complelty shocked. Been wanting for over a decade (since wells) to unearth a genuine star.
To loose him would be an injustice to all us success starved supporters
We have "McMahoned" far too many players.

Such a massive positive this year. The best thing about his development is that physically there's room for a lot of improvement. He looks like he'll fill out a little bit, and if he works on his tank he could be something really special.
Not meaning to pot the kid but he seems to miss quite a few set shots late in games which could be attributed to his endurance needing a little work.

The kid is a gun atm but has the ceiling to be a superstar. The Sandgropers (Scottywiper & yours truly) knew how good this kid was from when he dominated WAFL games as a 17 yr old and hence we kept saying the club needed to sign him up before Freo got their greasy hands on him!

PS: How smooth was his ball control for a 193 cm guy when he weaved through traffic before snapping goal of the year yesterday?

When you consider half his time at the club has been hampered by OP, and he really only took up the sport relatively late compared to most top prospects, what he could be after 40-50 games is scary.

A genuine elite, superstar type prospect. We haven't had one of those up forward since Duck.
HEY, that's my line!

I really need to steer clear of AB threads, the wife seems unsure of of whether or not I'm looking at an actual footy forum...

The same people excited for Black were probably the same who were ready to give up on Tarrant even though he's only played 30 games and never strung together a prolonged run of games.

Hansen's just starting to show what he's capable of and he's 80 odd games into his career.

We need to stick with the Black, Tarrant, Petrie combo throughout the highs (yesterday) and the lows (last week Black barely touched it against GWS.)

Absolutely delightful to watch blacky. If he can grab another few pre seasons and build a riewoldt like aerobic base, we could witness something awesome. Gaurantee that blacky will take mark of the year one day.

In my opinion the thing that will most hamper the careers of Tarrant and Black will be injuries. Both have had really difficult starts to their careers through some very serious injuries.

We are at last seeing how good they can potentially be if they can have a better run with injuries.

With some good fortune o the injury front, I think they will become the mainstays of our attack for some years to come. And we need them too as well as Drewie is moving into the twilight of his career.

Good luck Robbie and Aaron. Great to see you both making significant and important contributions.

The kid is abit of a freak, could be anything really..... only knock on him is the range of his kick seems to be limited.... although im not sure if that just my view....
Has regularly kicked goals from 50. Range is fine IMO.

Probably wouldn't even be playing if Taz didn't do his leg injury. As luck would have it Scott was forced to make changes which he hates doing and look at the result.

We have a potential star on our hands, hopefully he can continue to build.
