Yeah, he turned up looking like Draco Malfoy and played like him. A little campaigner. Which is why he played so well.

For everyone who said "oh look at them backpedal", the difference is the last two weeks he's played as a mid. Terrible small defender, a campaigner of a midfielder for the opposition.

The backpedalling jibe was aimed towards those saying he had zero AFL attributes and shouldn't be in the team. He's just scratching the surface of the player he can become at this level. Players with his level of composure under physical pressure make invaluable midfielders.

Lots of people love to see all the stuff that outside mids and key pos players bring in games against lesser opposition. He stands out for me because he can just get a hand in here or a hack there and won't shirk the issue in a real high pressure game. THAT is when you see if you have a finals worthy player. He fits the knock em down from halfback player we have been screaming for that we have wanted for so long
