Still makes me laugh that he has no highlights reel...

Isn't that what cat B is all about? The Yanks have no highlight reels either . The irish have a few nice shots of how they gather a round ball knowing the worst that can happen is solid bump .

They are picked on physical attributes.

Same goes here I think.

And he will wear the hoops - so unless you are Hawthorn trolls get behind him.

But Cat B rookies have certain requirements precluding them from footy in the last 3 years....

Now with NGA it's probably a bit different being Academy based selection. Point is - the bloke is raw. Entirely free and as such a 100% free hit. It is what is and we'll see him at Preseason.

GO Catters

He did make the squad for the TAC cup team of the year and finished 4th in the Falcons B&F. Something to work with. His coach also rates him highly and he's now on the VFL coaching panel. A free hit that could pay dividends down the track.

I see no one has come up with a nickname for this kid so I'm jumping in with one.

The GFC welcomes the 'Shlong"

There's are a reason for that. It's been deleted every time.

And will continue to be.

And dont pretend to not know why.

TO be fair to all...
WE all know what his nickname could be and what it wont be.

And it wont be done here.

Repeat offenders will get carded.

First and only warning.

I'm pretty sure his nickname is slugger but I could be wrong.

How tall is this kid? How does he weigh in and what position does he normally play? No one seems to be posting any of this information as in past years.
Agree, would be good to have some basic info about each new recruit!

"O’Keefe says: “He’s a big strong lump of a lad that has developed and grown enormously over the last couple of years since being in the system. He’s also matured a lot mentally I think too, but he’s still got these tricks that for someone his size is really unique. When the ball is on the ground, he does become another midfielder and he has really nice skills."

Wouldn't it be cool if he took home the Brownlow in 2021. We could could all look at this thread and just marvel at how really weird the world can get.
That would be incredible. But being bigfooty it would decent into a fight with me saying we got lucky, others praising wells and the same 3 blokes demanding Scott get sacked complete out of context.

Still makes me laugh that he has no highlights reel...

Did Mark Blicavs have any highlight reels before he was taken as a rookie?

Thanks HK. He is a genuine KPF/D size player.

Jeeze there are some real negative Nellies on here these days aren't there?

The kid is on the Cat B list, he is not taking a list spot off of anyone, at worst it costs us $85k at best we gain another dual BnF winner

I'm not trying to dig holes against this kid, but Blicavs had not played footy since he was a very junior kid and it wasn't much footy either.

This kid was in the TAC U18 system for two years.

Big difference.

If he's half as good as DeGoey at 198cm, I won't be complaining!
