Welcome Cooper, from the home footage you may need to work on the fend off D- for evasion. Good luck, shoulders back and smash it.

Yep, if you can spot a target and move the ball quickly & accurately by hand or foot, you don't need to worry about trying to burn off the OP with run and carry. There are two types of pace - one generated below the hips, and the other between the ears.
The quickest player I have ever seen?
Greg Williams.
Football isn’t always like that though…running with ball out of congestion or clearing/dodging away from would be tacklers is a common occurrence and speed power strength are important.Yep, if you can spot a target and move the ball quickly & accurately by hand or foot, you don't need to worry about trying to burn off the OP with run and carry.
Accurately means "not behind your teammate", right? That's the one that eludes our guys.Yep, if you can spot a target and move the ball quickly & accurately by hand or foot, you don't need to worry about trying to burn off the OP with run and carry.

Sam Mitchell remains one of the hardest guys to tackle I've ever seen. So was dane swan. Both for different reasons and neither for having speed.Football isn’t always like that though…running with ball out of congestion or clearing/dodging away from would be tacklers is a common occurrence and speed power strength are important.
Kids today, amirite?Rough haircut. Who's the club barber these days?
Probably the idea behind picking Cooper tonight over a player like RCD.
McMahon was the interesting choice. Still reckon we could’ve thrown him on the list with the other selection for 6 months and said give it your best shot. I’m sure he will be considered at the end of the year. No way we could have him over an actual Lord though.
20 March 2005 (his birthday) would have been roughly when I was telling people we were a sneaky chance for the premiership. I wasn’t far wrong.![]()

Perhaps, but I'm not sure mids with offensive damage and no major flaws are easy to find in the MSD.Does this seem like a bit of a samey pick to what our midfield already is? Contest mids, not fast and without a great deal of offensive damage. Workmanlike
In any case I don't want to be negative on the young fella, he does lower the eyes with is already a + and a solid citizen as a depth midfielder to come in and play a role is a good find in the MSD so if he becomes that then it's a handy pickup
I also like that he's young, a 19 yr old. Scope for plenty of growth.
Hopefully without the ‘ball butchering’ abilities.Just on face value, if there's a current day player to compere him to, it'd be Taylor Adams. Not flashy, but tough and hard. Unheralded, but just gets the job done
Even a bit of a lookalike at a similar age.............well, I reckon he does anyway
