Not so sure about that....

He gets selected on the Wednesday night, then rocks up to Princes Park on Thursday to an empty house for the photo shoot cos everyone's in Adelaide. Then gets told he's joining the rehab group in the gym, only to be buddied up with someone named Duff from Ireland who he can't understand a word of.

Then comes the big announcement that he's not playing on the weekend.

I'm tipping a trade request over the next few days

He started on the bench in most of those games so we don't know how much time he spent on ground.

Great a reserves bench player. A lot to like about him though, long kick, high endurance and defensive minded. The knock is on his pace, but on my limited viewings he didn't seem to me slow, just not quick. Does seem to lower the eyes and certainly relishes the tough stuff and defensive duties. My preference would have been Saad El-Hawli who has real pace. plays halfback more than wing but was a small forward as a junior and has that break-out pace as a point of difference, Luke Beecken was also taken later in the MSD and I would have considered him, but as he is 23 already he probably has a lower ceiling. That is given that we wanted someone for the midfield rather than a different type.
