I think he's shown enough to the coaching group to get on the main list. Speed/explosiveness. Plays in an area we are screaming out for someone to fill. Another year of development could see huge upside.
Being a cat A rookie impacts absolutely nothing in terms of senior eligibility. In order to maintain our best draft position, he will stay on the rookie list for as long as we can keep him there (3 years).

Did he just retire Eddie?

As good as he was, it was only one game. Let's not get carried away just yet. There's even potential room for he and Eddie to play together.

he came in, went back to the twos to work on a few things, then was promoted when the mc thought he was right to go - looks like they were right.

Please tell me how this kid hasnt played most of the year
He’s been working on his consistency in the VFL. He still drifts in and out of games a bit to much and worked on his kicking for goal. Has shown a ton of improvement in his kicking, but is still a bit too inconsistent. The best thing that he definitely brings to our forward line is the physical stuff. He loves to hit a tackle hard. I was calling for him to play seniors about 3 games into the VFL season just because of the intensity his game brings to the side. Was a good inclusion tonight and really hurt the Saints.

Talk of retiring Eddie might be a bit much, he's had a good year for a small forward and deserves another year. As for Honey was really happy to see him play and take his opportunity, shame it wasn't given earlier in the season but we're here now. Looks to have a bit of forward craft about him and brings others into the game, nothing flashy but could turn into a solid contributor. Few up and under kicks that had me a little worried but 3 goal assists and 2 goals is a great effort.

Totally get he still has areas to improve, I was just meaning with some of the guys we have played underdone and without s**t canning players arent up to it I would have liked to see him given more of a go this year

Honey bringing physical presence in FWD50, Stocker bringing it in DEF50, do we have anyone in the middle of the park who brings it?

Either way, having one bloke at each end of the ground will make opposition panic about getting hit 😁
