Welcome to Essendon, Dylan Clarke!

Thanks to don patch sword for this:

Team: Eastern Ranges
Height: 187
Weight: 85
DOB: 6/9/98

TAC Games: 8
AVG Disposals: 29.5
Goals: 7

Player Traits: Patrick Cripps, David Mundy
Position: Midfield

Bio: Clarke is a contested ball magnet, he works hard all around the ground and his stoppage work is umangst the best in this draft. Has grown during the year as well so doubt he is 187cm anymore he looks closer to 190cm.

Clarke is a smart player he works hard but he also works to smart spots on the ground he just knows where the footy will be both in the contest and in general play. He doesn't over exert himself he tends to stay in the middle of the ground.

His hands in close are exceptional and can be hard to stop with his big body and his first few steps are quicker than you would think. He makes great decisions in close and you can count on his possession putting teammates in a better spot.

Kicking is his main worry but has gotten better as the year has gone on. Id say his technique in general is fine he just needs to keep working at it. I really like Clarke and i think he would be a bargain late in the 2nd round.

We drafted another natural midfielder wtf!? Very good inside ball winner in the Matthew Priddis mould, unfortunately he shares the disposal quality of Priddis too.

He's only 18, plenty of time to improve his disposal just like Jobe did.

Kicking is the hardest action to change, and he has quite a poor action. But you can't get a perfect player with pick 63, and Clarke is good value here.

Incredible value and sounds like a good smart kid who will get 100% out of himself. Anyway If he's always winning the ball at the bottom of the pack, just get him to handball 80% of the time or kick long down the line. Problem solved!

He'll make it based purely on work ethic. I wasn't his biggest fan and still had him as a top 35 pick.

Don't underestimate how big it is that best mates have been drafted to the club. Gives them both so much support, helps them ease into the club as friends, it's fantastic. Great drafting Essendon.
who's he friends with?
