That would make sense.

I always wished the club gambled on one more year out of Callinan rather than Porplyzia in 2014.

It's understandable why they didn't, given the comparative records, age and arrival of Betts and Cameron.

But I've always felt Porplyzia was fading in 2013, while Callinan just seemed to have had injury interruptions.

Kind of feels that way for most small forwards and it kind of makes sense given the opportunity would be much lower against those stronger teams.

2013 wasn't good, teams gave him no room and body contact when he was near the ball to negate him, he was found out. Poor bugger had abn extra yard of pace, or grew up in the 80s, would have been a fair player; just gifted both sides.
