Rookie list spot, not a regular deal. Plus it's not like he's really gotten a crack - played one game, dropped, comes back a couple of weeks later, punctured lung in the second quarter, comes back, plays two games for Casey and does his navicular.

Smith is a medium/tall forward ... Pedo is a backup ruck/forward. I'm not guaranteeing Pedo and extension because of it, but to me the two deals aren't linked.
