^ I wholeheartedly agree. I reckon he also showed a lot more heart and tried despite his limited opportunities.

Carlton confirms further list changes

Carlton has confirmed a further three changes to its AFL playing list.

THE CARLTON Football Club can today confirm a further three changes to its AFL playing list.
Jaxon Binns will depart IKON Park, while Will White and Elijah Hollands will be considered for pre-season train-on opportunities following the conclusion of the draft in November.

“While we are not currently able to guarantee Elijah and Will a list spot for 2026, we will consider them both for train-on opportunities during the pre-season once the draft in November is completed.”

Was impressed by Will when he played this year.

Hard with composure and great disposal.

One of the few players who lowered their eyes when kicking inside 50 and hit leading targets.

Hope he can stay at the club in some way.

I’d love him to train alongside Hayward and Ainsworth this pre season as he could learn so much…unfortunately he’s basically up against them (and Motlop) for a spot in the side.

Would take Fogs list spot in 2027 with ease

This is a tough one. The young man bleeds Navy. Hopefully he stays with the club he loves and possibly gets another gig down the track.

A bit lacking in “class” but makes it up in endeavour and commitment.

Would be struggling to get a game with Ainsworth and Hayward added to the mix, but it whould never be through lack of effort.

The more I think about this the more it burns me that Fog is still on the list and White is fighting for the same spot as 'Lij.
Fog has had more than enough chances to step up and hasn't.
Would rather pay him out and take a punt on White.

Yep. Fog must have photos or something.
He's not the only guy in the forward who can lay a tackle now, and that was the only thing he offered.

Is there more upside in White than Fogarty? I can see why we like Fogarty but end of the day I think White has more upside. Tough one.

I was at the club on Wednesday morning and bumped in to White along with Motlop, Moir and O'Keefe after they finished a gym session.

All 4 were happy to have a chat and I asked him when preseason starts and if he had been away, he said it kicks off Nov 10 and he has basically kept training full time since the season finished.

Hopefully he puts his best foot forward over summer and who knows.

We will get Dean, Ison and likely another through draft. Leaves one spot which surely needs to be a back up Key Defender? Dean will be a KPD but can't play on big bodies yet like HOF. Young is a back up but is also needed KPF or Ruck.

No one seems to mention it but I look at our list and if Weitering goes down we are in serious trouble down back. Haynes, McGovern are next and they are not true KPDs. Are we hoping Duffy steps up?

Names like Phillips Frost Jones Blight C.Dean must be an option?

We have lost Lemmey Charlie SOS TDK from our list. Only "tall" addition has been Reidy who is a Ruck only. I just can't see how we don't add another tall even if for a year

Boyd remains far more inflexible and far less mobile when fit. Fogarty's game sense in all phases of play is hugely underrated on here.

I'm backing him, McGovern, and Saad to look much better this year, especially with reliable squad depth if they need to be rotated out, whether it be on game day with an extra number on the bench, or from a match.

I agree with you on the need however seeing we seemingly have had this need for several years and not filled it I won't be surprised if we don't again this time.

Eg it won't surprise me if we take Dovaston in the draft which would probably mean WW doesn't get a look.

Difference is TDK and lemmey have gone - think one comes through the DFA
