I guess we weren't going to resign him, so Brady thought may as well get a pick in for him. Head scratcher, considering we put two years of development into him. I don't think he's gonna be someone that plays 50+ games, so who cares in the end. I will miss shouting MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE.

Crows welcome Maley

Adelaide list management general manager Justin Reid has praised new big man Finnbar Maley who has crossed to the club this afternoon ahead of the trade deadline tonight.
Maley is expected to sign a one-season deal after being out of contract at North Melbourne.

“With Finnbar we were really pleased to get a deal across the line, given what we’ve seen from him,” Reid said.

“With plenty of height and a strong set of hands, he’ll be a valuable addition to our squad.
“We’re excited to see what Finnbar can achieve at our club.”

The Crows release also noted that Maley’s dad Paul played for the Adelaide 36ers during his distinguished NBL career, Finnbar’s sister Anneli also played in the WNBL for Adelaide Lightning early in her basketball career.

Trembath is simply the better footballer.

Good business.
They've both played **** all AFL footy to tell.

It does have me questioning why the minor premiers who have Thilthorpe, Fogarty and Walker can squeeze him onto their list but the mighty North Melbourne is too stacked, lol

Heard we offered him 1 year. Not sure if that was in the media or not.

Adelaide need a forward/ruck.

Remember when we took Goad? They were livid.

I'd suggest the Crow is tanking before the Tassiemania join the comp. Is all I can think of, he is one of the worst AFL/VFL footballers I have ever laid eyes on.

Hey he could turn it around, but so unlikely and again, which players survived because he left, that's what's more important. i.e. Has this given Harvey another opportunity.

Thought as a raw project player he'd shown easily enough to get a third year. There was more upside on the way, something the Crows - who have left us for dead with their recruitment recently - recognised.

Was one of very few on our list left who could take a genuine pack mark at AFL level. Also continually brought it to ground from our regulation hack kicks down the line to his disadvantage. Very mobile for a guy his size and tackled well.

Massive doubts about Coleman-Jones - his body and ability. Then there's the ageing Darling, Larkey and talented but inexperienced Trembath as our KP forwards. Any injuries and what happens?

I wish young Moose well, he's a likeable lad with some personality and a sense of humor.

I would've been happy enough to give him another year. But the crows gave him certainty that we couldn't or wouldn't, so fair enough for him to move on. Wasn't helped by us losing the 2 extra rookie spots and the emergence of Trembath.
Can take a nice mark, but will have to greatly improve his kicking to have an extended career at AFL level.

Finn probably a bit unlucky that Trembath showed up. Wish him all the best.

He's a great mark, but probably lacks the footy nous we need from a second banana next to Larkey. He could end up a right place right time sort of player as I think a great team could carry him.

Well I guess they would have to be starting to think about life, post-Tex; admittedly Finnbar is an unlikely solution, but he's a mature option for low cost
