No ITK knowledge but presumably he has access to a better surgeon and potential another type of graft as well for the second one.

They usually hook young athletic hopefuls up with good surgeons and physios but it's probably not as good as clubland.

The guy who did mine does a lot of AFL recos and the physio worked with Richmond. I didn't get graft options though.

But not being a pro I wasn't able to do everything they could in terms of rehab.

The chance of redoing an acl is around about 5%. I think he was just unlucky.

Putting aside the dynasty coach of the same name, I sure hope Flynn's onfield role ends up higher up the evolutionary chain than "nuisance" knowing he's surrounded by bigger, more talented mates.

He did my first knee. Felt great… until I did it again 2 years later. Couldn’t get another appointment with him for two months and ended up going with someone else. 10 years on and still going strong now (knock on wood)
