Were they not both listed as Cat B rookies?BloodyFooty I really enjoyed the short film. Nice message, nicely done. It's a bit shocking these days to hear words like "dago" and "wog" on screen (but a significant historical reminder) and some of the Italian accents were a bit fake. But I loved seeing the authentic depiction of life in the 80s. Thanks for sharing!
Kbroome I think you have made a good point highlighting that Liam has been made a Cat B rookie unlike Noah Chamberlain who is Cat A - I think that suggests Liam stands higher in the pecking order. A Cat B spot is worth more because there are fewer players that it can be used for and it can't be taken by a senior-listed player being moved to the rookie list (like Rampe & Lloyd).
Firstly, I don’t think we had any Cat A spots available. And secondly, if only LH was taken as a Cat B rookie, why have we gone in one Cat B rookie short?
The only way I think NC could be a Cat A rookie is if, despite earlier suggestions to the contrary (due to Cat B restrictions), Will Edwards is still a Cat B rookie.
