Becker as a third tall defender suited us better and the elite kick would’ve been handy

Not only will Blamires play round 1, but he will also play the next 200 rounds after that.

His ability to accumulate and distribute with poise is what our backline has been missing.

And pencil him in as a real chance of the Rising Star.
lol not eligible for rising star

Too old

Pretty hilarious that this board's 2 biggest dills have joined forces in combating a few people in here pumping up an untried youngster in Becker. I mean heaven forbid. Absolute toolbags.

That's Krakouer Bonarse for you, summed up in a sentence. Went nuclear over thinking someone could get a rising star but they're ineligible.

Liam Anthony?

Who was bagging out Blamires? Must've missed these mysterious posts.

The logic from many was we needed a midsized defender to cover Archer, the raw Thredgold and serially unavailable Goater.

If not maybe we can those guys loose since they're surplus to needs.

Anyway, amazingly North must've felt similarly since they invited the 190cm Becker as a train-on. Stupid nuffies, why did they even bother?

Actually now I think of it further, are the Strawman Twins ok with North wasting a few weeks engaging with a no-hoper like Becker when in the end they just picked Blamires?

Lock for round 1 IMO but let’s not go too early on a bloke whose played one practice game..
l would love to see him play round 1 against Poort but round 2 might be better for him against the Weagles as l feel there might just be to much pressure. Playing against Poort with Judas, a home game and being 1st game of the season whereas Weagles over there might be better for him. We dont want him to be end up being Norfed to early in his carreer.

Bro I can assure you that Fabian's presence will not be a valid reason to hold him back in the coaches' eyes. He'll play. And hopefully he wins thirteen bullshit high frees and wins us the game

If we're worried he'll be intimidated by Port Adelaide and Horne-Francis in front of 20k people at Docklands on a Sunday, God help us.

It would be great if we could play Blamires and Hardeman off HB, with spurts from Kerch. The former two solve a lot of our small defender problems.
