He got limited game time, and when he was out there I don't think he registered a single disposal. Was played up forward.

I did see him crash a few packs... I wouldn't be writing him off just yet.

Plus its a preseason game with 200 men on the bench so game time is limited for most players unless they are guys like Schammer and Ibbotson trying to cement a place or hone their game for the coming season.

I am pretty sure he was on for one of the goals, I remember seeing him go onto to the ground and then making sure I noticed anything he did. It was only a minute or so later when Schammer kicked a goal, though him giving the hand pass is most likely totally wrong.

I didn't spot The Shadow until after half time, and given that he was in the forward line, it would have been a miracle if he'd got anywhere near the ball with the way the midfield and backline were playing.

I think expectations are pretty high for a guy who's still trying to find his feet in the WAFL. If he's regularly playing good, solid footy for East Freo's league side by the middle of the season I'll be pretty happy.
