So, is this game still UNTELEVISED anywhere in Perth?? Heard someone from Ch 9 on the radio this morning saying that its the WACA who make the call if its on or not.

I would rather a 3hr delay than no coverage at all!!!

EDIT: I get the reason why the grounds make the call, don't show it live to make people buy tickets and go to the ground...but honestly....what % of people go "Hrmm its not on TV so I'm going to spend $45 to sit in the sun and watch cricket on a 37c day when I had no intenions of going to the cricket in the first place? Oh, and chances are I have work as its a FRIDAY"

If you were going to go to the cricket, you would have already planned to go.
And the shit thing is, is that they're only 2000-3000 tickets off a sell out, which is great for an ODI in Aus involving SL.

Thought it was missing leg myself, but fair enough. What's up with Punter? Not a good start to this ODI series. :(

Hey guys, just curious as to how Malinga's action is legal. M understanding was you had to bowl with your hand facing the sky and had a 10-15 degree leniency? Not having a go at the guy, just interested in hearing what the rules state. I know a guy when playing in juniors who was told to reinvent his action as he bowled similar and the league said it was an illegal delivery.

Cheers.

He has no bend in the arm. His action is horizontal (a bit like Tait). I do not think you have to ball with your hand to the sky.

Nothing in the rules stating this. Just can't straighten the elbow more than 15 degrees.

His action is perfectly legal, just unorthodox

He's far from the first bowler to bowl with a slingy or roundarm action

He's no different to other slingers like Tait and Jeff Thomson, don't think he does anything illegal like chucking.
