Been our 2nd most important player this year but I fear we may cook him in the business end of the season. Gotta find games to manage him and play Ladhams

Still think Ladhams could be the 5th bench guy at least in some games

No matter how many times the TV tells me how amazing gather round is, I just don't care.

And I'm looking forward to a home game this week.

Went last year with my mates and absolutely loved it.

4 days of golf, breweries, football and food

Caught 6 of the games through the weekend and overall had a great time.

I’ll be honest I really didn’t ever watch him at Collingwood (at pressers) and only heard him speak during his Melbourne days maybe once or twice. It’s not until he got to Sydney that I heard much about him at all and it’s been a breath of fresh air.

He speaks openly and honestly but also with respect and like he’s got an incredibly balanced outlook on life. Fast became one of my favorite Swans the moment he joined the club. I hope he’s got another 5 years or so left in him and a couple of deserved flags.

What an incredible trade this was.
I tried following where those picks went but the Wikipedia entry for all the pick trades and what not made no sense

The pick 47 we gave Melbourne was then traded to the Lions for Tom Fullarton who got delisted last year. Brisbane got that pick in return and then used it in the Brandon Ryan/Jack Gunston exchange. Hawks went on to use that pick to match the bid for Will McCabe who debuted the other week ago against Port. Very good deal from the Hawks end.

Our future second we gave Melbourne was then traded to the dons in that big picks swap Melbourne did to move up to pick 9 in the 2024 draft (Xavier Lindsay). Essendon then traded our future second rounder to the Lions during the draft, who then went on to use it to match the bid for Levi Ashcroft.
