Another great article about the champ on his 250th
I read this article yesterday and it filled me with angst... was thinking it’s the perfect moz... and sure enough Dusty gets injured.
I am hoping there wasn’t a similar article about Brett Deledio playing his 200th game as a just turned 27 year old, with only one final in those 200 games.

They both have their own month in fairness. Mr September and Mr April.Media Petracca closest to Martin as a player since when lol not even capable yet to tie Dustin's shoe laces.
So Dusty has just played his 250th, missing very few games along the way. I'm wondering how quick has he actually done it and how he compares to others... in terms of age, time between first and 250th game, games played out of possible games played, and whatever else?

Dimma mentioned there was something up with Dusty's foot, had anyone else noticed that he's been handballing a lot more than normal the past couple weeks? I thought he was trying to add something to his game or maybe wasn't seeing anything he likes upfield, or the taggers went from doing homework on dusty to researching their thesis on dusty, but he wasnt even trying his normal 3 second forward look he does where he ignores the opposition. I think one of his great strengths is his willingness to take risks, he turns it over a lot be he knows he can pull it off a lot too, and adds more than he hurts.

Also a change in what side of the ground he tends to play on
First few games and the last few seasons he tended to play on the side that favoured his right when kicking out of the middle using the space towards the outside

Be good for him to get away from the grind and relax a little.
Even if he gets caught up with covid issues in NZ it's a calculated risk that's to ensure his well being so i commend the club on doing the right thing by him

Just a case of resting the foot so doesn’t make much difference if he’s here or there. Seeing his old man makes him happy so that’s what he gets. He’s earned that much.
