Well apparantley we are offering 1.1 mill so yer I rekon an extra day 100-150 k a year could sway a decision .
Hmm, I don't think it would. If he wants to stay, whether it's $1.1m-1.25m it won't matter in my opinion. He is being offered $1.5m allegedly, and that plain and simply blows us out of the water.

It simply just comes down to what he wants. The money or the chance of snagging a flag or two and to become a Richmond legend that will go down in history as one of the best ever.

He will take the money won't he... lol.

Yeah, Filthy is pretty decent. He's the only one I've ever really had anything to do with and he's a decent person. His brethren that have found themselves inside this thread leave a lot to be desired though.
There's quite a lot of good ones same as here, and those real shitty ones like here too.

If he is weighing it up on whether to leave, then us adding an extra 150,000 would probably tip it in our direction.

It's over if that's all there is to the deal but luckily there's other cards we can play, not confident that we'll walk away with his signature.
At 300k a year difference (if we were at 1.2) id be fairly confident.
At 400k difference though.....that is a truck load of coin and even if he didnt want to leave RFC id reckon part of him is trying to convince himself the move would be great for him. Purely for the money.
Massive massive decision.
Gotta hope this whole 1.5 business is BS. Not looking like it though.
The only thing keeping me confident though, apart from things said here is that i cant fimd a journo that says he goes. Not even Barrett thinks he will go. No doubt they all think its tight though.

Love unusual stats, Johnson on League Teams tonight rated Dusty's lace-out to Jack as the best of 7000+ kicks for the year, and Dixon said GPS had it at an amazing 68 kph, the average over that distance is 40 kph. Wow, that's a bullet.
Is there an echo in here? Kidding but you can be forgiven for missing my post in this shitstorm of a thread.

You know what makes me sad about this whole affair?

Rance re signed, JR, Cotch etc etc. all the boys that have been there from Dusty's first day. No one has left for the money or a better opportunity (that we wanted to keep).
If I had been busting my arse with these guys for years, on a mission to achieve something together as a team, well I'd sure as hell not want to leave.
I'd leave if I was unhappy. Money, nup. Means shit when you're 25yo.

So for all I know of Dusty, and the type of young bloke I think he is, it would be astonishing for him to walk.

And for that reason, on one level, I don't think he'll leave. And for the same reason it would eat at my guts that these guys don't have that real bond to finish what they've started together.
Maybe I'm old fashioned, but it's the staying, maybe accepting a bit less that creates on rock solid culture to achieve the ultimate success.

Don't worry guys, there are still plenty of opportunities for Dusty to make $$ after footy - just wait until he marries Cotch. Wedding of the century. Obviously holding out on signing until the results of the same-sex marriage vote are clear.

Tina Arena's sad marriage news
In her autobiography Now I can Dance, the 50-year-old revealed that she felt “disconnected” from her husband (Ralph Carr) after he became angry that she had refused to sell photographs from their wedding day.
