Tbh I'm not confident enough for that.
I think Dusty could end up at Hawks, Saints or Gold Coast yet.
I think he is leaving and i beleive North are in with a shot but you never know what Dusty is thinking.

I'll do a month sig and avatar bet though if you want.

Ok, I'm now confused....

1. Dusty is making a decision in the bye between round 23 and the finals according to his manager. Assuming we make finals then you wouldn't think that there would be an announcement to say he is leaving. In fact, given he is a restricted free agent, he can't actually make a decision to leave at that point because
a) Free agency hasn't opened at that point so he can't accept an offer that can't be made under AFL rules
b) If a wasn't true, the RFC have the option to match any offer anyway

2. Assuming that Ralph Carr surprises us all and nothing is announced (to the media) during the proposed time then where is he likely to go? he has been linked to:
Go North! - however Dusty hates Tassie and surely would prefer to play in front of actual crowds rather than fake crowd noises. Oh and they may not even have a coach at that point
GWS - who denied it
Sydney - who denied it
Saints - who are actually reasonably placed to trade for him
Hawks - have cap space probably but no picks whatsoever to offer if we match offer.
Essendon
Gold Coast - by Hird

Have I missed anyone? Surely if he is considering moving it would be to 1 or 2 clubs tops, not a highest bidder scenario as some flog journalist said....
If he is going I wouldn't rule out Crows.
They still have Danger money which was tried last season to lure Gibbs. Although they good still be balls deep into Gibbs. Adelaide with Martin become scary good.

Give me a spell in regards to Go North!, they have 8 grandpas still on their list and their kids are not getting played, they are not going to even challenge for the eight Dusty or no dusty, as for the druggos they are the 4th oldest list in the comp and are treading water with one of the best injury lists in the league, they too are about to get tested in regards to grandpas over the next 1-3 years.
They will retire players then guess what after that?
Straight to the Richmond cupboard.

I just hope when we announce he has re-signed the club gives us a little salute by posting it at 10:20am.

Bigfooty would crash
RFC_Official make sure this happens please.

Hmm bit of a dick thing to say.
Just telling it like it is.

If we didn't go to Gold Coast in 07 we ain't going anywhere now or in future.
Ben Buckley just stated we will never leave Arden St.
We have 40k members now and have a good deal down in Hobart for 3 games a yr.

That campaigner hutchy is ******* oxygen thief.
You'll get a better deal when it's 11

Hmm yeah not gonna happen.
Might want to start using that phrase when the other 10 Go North! fans ask if Dusty is coming.

Lowest vic memberships and crowd attendances by a mile, almost zero media interest, there's minimal interest in your club and that is a shame. Will be great for football in general when you officially move and become the Tassyroo's

Also, what has Hutchy got to do with this?
That is why they moved their caravan to Hobart! and desperately need to poach a Tiger.

Premiership cups will melt in the sun.

I'm done with all the speculation and scenario creation. My plan is to enjoy Dusty's contributions to the team game and wait for his announcement. Hope he stays but on terms that work for him and the Richmond Football Club. If he chooses to go, so be it. The Club is in a good place now and will continue to be, (as U2 might say) with him or without him.

apparently i heard from a very good source that dustin is going to throw a dice to see where he should play, if it lands on 1-2 he will stay if it rolls at 3-4 he will take up singing classes and if it goes to 5-6 he will retire and host the footy show, you heard it here first
Well you need to read the The Dice Man. He ran his life on the whim of the dice and it all wasn't that nice. I think there was a movie or tv series about it too.

A very weird book flea. It's in my collection and I re-read it occasionally to remind myself of how barking mad psychiatrists can be. Nowhere near as vicious as American Psycho but disturbing none the less.

This has a touch of 95 about it , We made prelim then our coach leaves due to money. To think Danger is on roughly 800k per year.
Northey left because he wanted an extention, not due to coin. We wanted the extention because he was shit scared of coming out of contract at the same time as sheeds, because word was we were already trying to line him up
