Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Kicked 59 goals in 2012 and had a reasonable finals series kicking 6 in the QF. He had a massive offer from Freo on the table and another substantial offer from Blues. Re-signed after finals for 5 years after Pies finished top 4 and were bundled out in the Prelim.

One thing I do remember is that if he had to tell someone his name he would always be sure that it was "Browne with an e" because God forbid it was spelt "brown" , that would be much too common.
