How good was THAT handball last weekend!! F* I love watching him play.

Langford was the right call with the 1st pick. I was all for the Viking for our 2nd pick if available. He had a shocker last game. Sydney might have shown how to dismantle him. Little like Lever. Get him one on one and play through him. Allow him the ball and he makes mistakes. Great third man up though. Keeping Battle would have helped this kid big time. Has shown he's exciting though, but has flaws. If he can improve those he'll be some player. Would still take Langford though.
I think Tauru will be the player I want us to recruit, this end of season.

He looks to me like the tallish half-forward mobile type player, who is good at ground level, and also in the air, who can come through the packs from side-on, to mark.
IMV this will be a very damaging method, when opposition defences are on top of our tall-forwards.

yeah because he's really damaging in the aerial contests. Roo's comments are a back handed compliment. Have you not watched any of stkilda's games? its ok to admit that another team has found a key position gem that is better than our pick.

Anyway, this is going in circles so just PM me if you wanna chat further about this.
There’s an invitation that invites me more than I can say

Man this guys is gonna be a jet. The overhead marking, the quick handball out of heavy traffic, the tackling.

Every game he plays makes it more obvious he's gonna be pretty special.
And a very certain person on here keeps trying to tell us that he's no good and talk up spuds like Sparrow

Not too concerned about the lack of talk for him winning Rising Star. He's clearly shown enough. Pretty consistent season too tbh. Hasn't really hit that wall most first year players do. Looks a beauty. So glad Goody won't have his dirrty hands on his future. He's got a genuine chance of being elite now! Will be shocked if he's not top 4 in the award this year though. I feel he's shown enough. Murphy Reid, Ashcroft and Curtin will most likely be ahead of him. He's in that mix though. Strong draft class.

Could see it going something like:

1. Curtin
2. Reid
3. Ashcroft
4. Langford
5. O'Sullivan
6. Roberts (great stats, easiest role in footy)
7. Caddy
_________
The rest

Top three likely set in stone as they're performing well in competing teams.

This is pretty spot on. Roberts is a bit meh for mine. Throw in Lalor and Jagga and thats a pretty strong crew. Langford definitely has the potential to be the best from this group. Jordan Lewis today said he can see him being the best player in the comp at some stage. Potential is huge.

Give me every single bloody stock in this kid imaginable. 26 touches at 92.3% (!), 665 metres gained and a goal against a team playing for a top-four spot. Star.

Was he playing on the wing? 16 disposals hemmed against the line. Goody would love that

He was on the wing but got the ball in the centre square a few times to set up goals. Kicked a ripping goal after a stuff up from rivers from 50 out off one step.

Wing, but covered a hell of a lot of ground pushing forward and into defence, too.

Im sure we will get a run down about how he has no right hand or foot and therefore that makes him a terrible player over the next day or so.
