I like how Langford has had to earn his spot in the senior side. I know you shouldn't expect much from players in their first game/first seasons etc but I can see Langford kicking a couple of goals on Sunday.

Desperatly needed a debutant to get the boys up and thats what we have here. A few have been saying he probably couldve been playing all year so far aswell, so he seems really well rated at the club, im just looking for some silk and spark. Maybe a goal or two. Bring some energy to the group, hopefully he plays a leadup forward role really well and can take over Ambrose.

I get your all being hopeful and what not but i doubt he is going to kick multiple goals when he hasn't snagged one in the VFL yet(practice matches aside). But none the less he has shown he is a good player and very crafty. What i am saying is, Its more likely he sets up others to kick goals than kick them himself.

He kicked multiple goals in a NAB cup game? Does that count?

Well that'd be a win, as too many in our team seem to try their hardest to **** up the setting up of goals with shoddy delivery into the F50.

I'm hoping we give the kid a full game. Must admit, I didn't see a great deal of him in the pre season but a 3rd marking forward who can find the goals and use the footy would be ideal for our forward line. So yeah 3 or 4 goals today haha

I Hope he plays again next week. He was clearly nervous but he went to the right spots and got three or four goal scoring opportunities. I'd give him another chance to show that he can take those opportunities.

Seeing him at the ground - he moved so well. He was 10m+ away from his opponent a lot of the time because of his movement.

i liked his game. started off slow but got adjusted to the intensity as the game went on. could've easily finished with a couple of goals. not sure i'd play him against Freo though

Missed two easy set shots, got caught HTB despite having an eternity and selfishly took a shot and failed to make the distance by 20 odd metres. He showed a bit of footballing instinct with a clever tap to the goal square in a stoppage but as a whole, it wasn't good. Haven't said that, it was only his first game.

Harsh but honest. I thought he was worst on ground for us.

I won't write him off obviously but it wasn't a good debut.

It's an incorrect summary too, despite his finishing, he was very good. Easily the best defensive efforts from anyone in the forward half/midfield.

Daniher was our worst today.
It was a decent debut. He's good at finding space in the fwd 50, too bad we don't have any forward structure and our mids can't kick it in properly

If he didn't hit the post with his first kick I'm certain he would have nailed the next from 20 out. He was clearly nervous on and fluffed it.
I liked the aggression he showed, landed some tackles and looks to have a bit of Mongrel. Did some clever things such as the tap mentioned and that pickup and turn in the last was classy... Shame about the kick! Certainly was not worst of for us and a decent debut.

Have seen him play in NAB cup and his movement and smarts were obvious - pleasing thing for me today was that he attacked the contest with vigour and you knew he was out there.

Has all the tools, this was the only unknown for me - will be a player.
