So much to like about this kid. Will be a gun along with Laverde. Is a beautiful kick and good agility. Reckon he will be a genuine 50-50 midfielder/forward.

Only just turned 18 too I believe.

Thanks Paddy

He's starting to look like a superhero.

How thick set is he from hips/thighs down.

Gonna be a perfect 3rd tall forward IMO and i hope we pick him this year over either Brown/Mckernan as he has so much upside and development at AFL level needs to be pushed forward.

He may even out perform these guys next year but even if he isnt id like to see him given the game.

Or we could play all 3 with Joey and see how it works.

Also i wouldnt put a line through him as pur 3rd tall defender. I see alot of things that could make him a great 3rd defender. Has the perfect size, great attitude and discipline will be one of those real good guys of the club, has great hands so could intercept and reads the play pretty well. Also has a nice kick wont be a turn over merchant. I was seeing and making similarities to Mackie as a potential 3rd/4th rebounding defender when drafted.

I hope we give him a crack at both end in the PS. Just dont want to be putting a line through him if he doesnt get a game as a forward this year when he could very well fill the 3rd tall defender role nicely.

Whether hes quick enough down there might be the concern.

Much rather too see langers play as a third tall forward. Most of you will disagree but I don't like the prospect of having a tall midfield, yes partrick Cripps and others but IMO, he is a forward.

Think he will eventually play midfield. Has the footy smarts and ability, just needs to keep building the engine.

Langford moves through traffic like a midfielder.

We need to develop our next clutch of star mids and I'd like to see it led by Hep, Laverde, Langford, Zach Merrett, Parish and possibly Francis. Throw in some silky wingers like Colyer, J Merrett, Fantasia and hopefully Long and there we could have a very potent midfield based on potential. Maybe need another young contested ball winner and we'd have the full clutch. Now all we need is the development...

I need to see more of Langford to see whether he can become a quality midfielder at AFL level.

Never been a big accumulator has he? Also whether he can get his tank to a level sufficient is still a big question.

Hes the right size for a big bodied mid and moves well through traffic and seems hard enough.
