Cleared to play, ribs not damaged

Essendon midfielder Maddy Prespakis has been cleared of injury following a heavy knock during the Bombers’ round one clash with Hawthorn.

The 22-year-old was assisted from the field but shortly returned after, with an assessment clearing any damage to her ribs.

That's crap. I've seen a handful of worse tackles already in the limited number of AFLW games I've seen.

At least we're playing WC, but losing Bannister and Prespakis in a week will tell.
