Nice to have a game in Melbourne during a very busy time of the year. Very smart move.

As somebody who has followed Rugby League for almost 40 years, it's just my opinion, but I think the four nations is a wank.
International Rugby League has become a joke.
What should be done is (IMHO):Based on the World Cup being held last year in the Northern Hemisphere, the next World Cup should be held in 2017 in the Southern Hemisphere.
Mickey Mouse tournaments like the Four Nations should be held in 2015 (South), then 2019 (North), leaving the even numbered years as proper off seasons for the players.Perhaps, emerging nations could play a tournament at those times whereby the winner in 2014 or 2018 gets entry into the following year's Four Nations. The winner in 2016 and 2020 would get seeded fourth at the following year's World Cup.
What I suggest would probably be dismissed as "unworkable" by the IRL, and not feasible by the holy grail of Rugby League ownership, Channel 9. But, once this year's Grand Final is run and won, I most likely won't give the Four Nations any more than a passing glance at the results.
