There's a lot right regarding this pick from what you see on the surface. Solid words from his Great Grandfather. If that sort of wisdom can be imparted into him re importance of the jumper, the opportunity he has etc and his ability holds up to the intensity of senior football you cant go too far wrong one would hope. Time will tell I guess

Technically it would be 2024 but he wouldn't be able to play for us until the following year. It's a two year contract they are on.

Works well for both players and the club. Secures up their careers and they renegotiate their contracts as 21 year olds when they are likely to be really hitting their straps and demanding a good contract. Club gets to sign them up for a few seasons cheaply. win win.

Kids with his level of work rate and desire to improve just don't fail when they have natural talent to go with it. Was a massive advocate for him in the draft thread and still a massive fan. Can see him having an impact similar to Max Holmes for Geelong within the next few years.
