cotchin was given a program to follow, but he quietly pushed it more then he should have ( because he is a winner and a bloody champ).
Yet inevitably did more damage to himself.

I was the first person to sink the boots into Meehan last year so what I'm about to say isn't me doing the old "defend the club at any opportunity" thing.

Being critical of the strength and conditioning team I feel is harsh. Yze said it in his presser but the way he did the hammy was a very strange mechanism that you can't really train/prepare for. I can't help but agree.
They were super cautious with him on this occasion as well and they have erred on the side of caution all year which Meehan didn't do and it cost us dearly.

This is an opportunity for them to put him on ice for the balance of the year and just make sure they get it right and find new ways to strengthen it so he is ready to go round 1.

I’m unsure about his history, but Grimes is different. There are no warning signs yet, and we can address them. It’s disappointing, but it’s not the end of the world, as others believe.
