I’m concerned but not overly concerned about him. He has absolute tree trunk legs and needs to grow into his own body. It is not unusual for kids his size to have the issues that he has and is having. We will likely see some more issues pop up in the near future but we just gotta trust the process.

That being said, fantastic debut season from Sam. We all see the talent and potential. Incredible character, hard worker. He’s a good kid and has everything we could have dreamed for. Can’t wait to watch him again next season and for the next decade plus.

Looks like he is getting surgery, hopefully all goes well.

“We consulted a few surgeons for Sammy’s case, and there is a fairly strong consensus that surgery was required for him,” Serpell said.

“After three injuries to the same side over the last 12 months, it was clear that it was unlikely that hamstring was going to heal in that spot.

“He will undergo surgery this week and will look forward to hopefully having a quick recovery and get most of pre-season done.”
