He just looks like he is well above AFL standard. And that was his first year.Beautiful kicking & clean hands by that I don't just mean handballing either but his a great mark as well.

This doesn't mean much now, but I remember watching a Rebels vs Bushies game in '24...Lalor was absolutely taking the piss in the middle...35 easy...My son (for Bushies) admitted later he didn't do much, because he was too busy watching him...I also saw a couple of Richmond suits there, and maybe one of them was Chris Toce...They would've picked this guy then and there…He just looks like he is well above AFL standard. Looks for others and sees ahead of the game. Looking forward to his career chasing Dusty. I f he maximises his potential he could reach that level - well IMHO.

We need to stop with the Dusty comparisons, he is unlikely to ever be that good.Yep, huge gap from now to Dusty. But Lalor gives me the vibes that he could do it. Maybe. Maybe if things go right.
Spot on.We need to stop with the Dusty comparisons, he is unlikely to ever be that good.
That doesn't mean he won't be a match winner and a very good player for us.
Wouldn’t say no to thatMore Michael Voss then Dusty.

He was too good so they asked him to leave politley. What happened to sam today ?
Why did he leave the ground early
Style wise I think Dusty was quicker, more evasive and agile, but Lalor is definetely better overhead and looks a better set shot for goal early on.More Michael Voss then Dusty.
funny game footy i remember watching lids and dusty going from highly talented kids to superstars...both practically bullet proof and injury free until they hit 30 ish then injury gods were so unkind and cruel. would love to see our next block of superstars being played six games on, one game off, they need to be as fit as marathon runners and run a sub 22s over 200, jump on planes going from chilly Tasmania to sauna like Darwin with only 4,5,6 day breaks these days. 18 games a season max....look at black caviar raced over 6 seasons for 25 runs/wins.Yep, huge gap from now to Dusty. Lids was never a superstar. A very good footballer in a bog ordinary side.funny game footy i remember watching lids and dusty going from highly talented kids to superstars...both practically bullet proof and injury free until they hit 30 ish then injury gods were so unkind and cruel. would love to see our next block of superstars being played six games on, one game off, they need to be as fit as marathon runners and run a sub 22s over 200, jump on planes going from chilly Tasmania to sauna like Darwin with only 4,5,6 day breaks these days. 18 games a season max....look at black caviar raced over 6 seasons for 25 runs/wins.
Dusty wasnt a superstar until the team lifted as well.Lids was never a superstar. A very good footballer in a bog ordinary side.
If Lids was drafted to the Hawks instead of TigersLids was never a superstar. A very good footballer in a bog ordinary side.
Yep, same applies to Richo, never gets talked about highly enough IMO due to playing for shit teams and no GF's. He would be considered better than Dusty IMO if he played in GF'sIf Lids was drafted to the Hawks instead of Tigers
He would have been talked about as a brownlow medalist and multiple premiership player
