Alan Obst = The Stckle
One of Tef's many nom de plumes if memory serves.

Where did we get pick #56 from...when l stopped watching our next pick was in the 70s...

Pick 71 compressed with all the picks used up for academy bidding and passes

"Possibly even play across half back'

Sounds like they’ve pencilled in Eddie for a role down back at some stage too.

With his high leap he might turn out to be a Jeremy Howe type?

Sheeeeeeet he looks big in the Lazzaro interview video. Ford could be the most ready to go pick in the 50s for a while.
Ford, lazz and philips are a very good size for their age. Walker and Powell still skinny.
The first 3 could push for early selection with no worries.

Where and what was he teaching T.O.D. ?

Year 9 Economics(?) maybe. Bit of a memory fade, but think that was it.

At the same school that produced the NMFC consecutive games record holder. (Suddenly it all makes sense.)

But back to Tiger.....funniest thing was when he was on yard duty. You'd be sitting down the back of the oval having a smoke, watching some kids playing kick-to-kick on the oval, and suddenly this thick set, adult body would flash into view at high speed, taking a huge speccie over some weedy little kids, laughing as they crumpled to the ground, before taking off and having a bounce, bumping and steamrolling any kids in his path that weren't looking, and then spearing a pass in to the other end that was delivered with sufficient force to literally skittle dudes.

If you google 'white line fever', I'm pretty sure a picture of Brent Crosswell will come up.

Then he'd just wander off whistling to himself like nothing had happened. Bloke was a unit.
