Don't know if it's been mentioned anywhere, but congratulations on Gibbo for getting VFL Life Membership during the week.

Liked his acceptance speech when he turned toward his ex Williamstown teammates, smiled and said 'good luck in the finals guys, but I'm a Northern Blues these days'

Really built into the year and by the end was a Bonafide best 22 player, love his work rate when playing high half forward runs his guts out to make himself a linkman and just keeps getting better, love him already and a great pick up by SOS and the team. Well done on a great first year Gibbo

Gee...I know he fell off a bit of a cliff late last year but he'd shown he could compete at the level. Thought he would be useful depth and keep the VFL side competitive.

Pretty unlucky, played some good footy for us. Probably doesn't get another chance elsewhere, best of luck Gibbo.

Season fell apart when he was shifted out of the forward pocket and played up the ground. Went alright at AFL level and could possibly be good enough to get another look at it. Some of our small forward really came on later in the year and that's probably pushed him to the outer.

Was best 22 before injury.

Was only going to get harder for him to get a spot next year with our midfield getting bolstered, and the emergence of Honey and Owies. Also have Fisher, Durdin, Fogarty, Cuningham and Martin fighting out for forward spots.

Always thought he wasn’t far off his ceiling unfortunately.

If he was quicker he’d have made a handy small forward, if he was a little bigger he’d be a decent link up mid.

Had some good games and was a pretty neat player overall. Probably suffered from not having much of a defined role and no real standout traits.

Will undoubtedly get back to reserves footy and dominate.

Bit unlucky for Ramsay, who didn't get a crack at his shot due to Covid/hub/Teague timing.

But Gibbo delisting is a no brainer. Just not good enough at AFL level. Plus we have ample others in all Gibbo's positions.

I was always a bit confused why he wasn't played in our midfield when he had won the best and fairest in the VFL 2 years running as a midfielder before joining us?
