Good footy brain.

Gets to the right spots. Hard at it in close and will out his head over it anytime.
Works defensively as well.

Good goal sense and has kicked multiples on occassion.

Needs a few preseasons to get bigger and build fitness but for a NGA pick... im really happy to have him slow cook and take another 3 years to get those elements in play.

Feels like he'll be a plug and play as we begin to manage Atkins minutes in the next few years.

Absolutely love Tom, but the bloke plays such a taxing, physical style that we'll need to manage into his latter 20s.

Luckily Ted looks like the perfect replacement. Quality from our club yet again.

Some recognition for super Ted after his 4th match. 16 disposals at 81% efficiency, 5 contested, 6 marks, 4 tackles and 2 goals on 57% game time as sub.

Yet to play a full game but might change in about 6 days.

Surprisingly enough after such a poor effort as a whole, he (or COS) are solid chances of being the rising star nomination tonight.

Being a couple years older always works against you a bit, but it wasn't exactly a round chock full of quality performances from those eligible.

Please do not tell me that's a sign of a rebuilding team. Losing games, without a single player polling coaches votes, kid got a rising star nom though 🌟

You been onto him for a while. Great call.

Love the fact he has improved year on year. Looks like a potential solid B grade mid in the future or very handy depth at absolute worse case.

Yeah not sure he’ll ever make an A grade - but not everyone does. WOJO, Stokes, Byrnes etc.. but they all played their role and to the best of their ability.. and we won bc of what they did.

Before the weekend I thought he was just a good honest trier. And there's no doubt he commits his body fully to the cause.

But he showed a few glimpses of class on the weekend. That mark against Mason Wood was great. And his ability to find dangerous spots seemed to translate to AFL level. He's definitely worth persisting with.

Dont get this and needed 3 days of mouring before closing it.

But that's why they get paid the big bucks.

Thanks Ted - the grunt will be missed.

I dont wanna hear a single complaint about defensive pressure and tackling in 2026
