Based on your posts, nothing I can say to you will change your opinion on him being delisted.
I and a few others disagree with you, and have seen him do things that give me confidence he’s not a lost cause.
We are allowed to disagree.
you missed the point completey

engage with me. disagree with me. don't jump on someone ese's bandwagon and talk about me in the third person.

thanks for the lecture in whatever it was though. enjoy your allowance.

More to do with being shite IMO...
Right now Sonsie and Ross and Campbell are the only mids and half forwards who can kick the ball more than 30 metres into the forward line to the advantage of our forwards. Sonsie is in our side only because Toranto Hopper MacIntosh Short and the rest are poor kicks under pressure. As the kids develop it will be interesting to see which players they replace, the ones that can kick or the ones that can’t.

sounds like a player with a very limited and boutique niche, in a team that has older better and younger much better options?
if we delist him, will anyone pick him up?

if not, why should we keep him?
I have no doubt Sonsie would be picked up ... he is a midfielder ... when we play him there he plays well ... Hawthorn would have him in a heartbeat ... is he best 22 ... probably not now ... he will come into his own when he is 24 or 25

Now no-one is going to take Dow ... we should put him on our rookie list

His heart doesn’t seem in it right now at the tiges, maybe he needs a mate

his signature move is the "look, no hands" handball. often over his head. hoping someone will be there

like Shane Edwards, without the perception, and the toughness

Genuinely looks like a schoolyard/training ground drill.

half trick miniature pony stuff
It took a lot of time before Shane and the team all knew that Shane would look for a quick handpass out of trouble, maybe with time Sonsie and the team will be able to replicate Shane?

Sonz kicking the ball 8 times a game ~ has a KE of 55.6%.

Hopper 53%
TT 52%

Ross 69%%

Dow 64.4%
kicked better. I thought. longer for starters

Short 80.6%

Just fell to his knees in Kmart hearing the Retschko news.
Keep hating a tiger listed player! Him, Short, Ryan and Dow cop so much vitriol on here which is unwarranted. Club drafted them and try to develop them, if they’re delisted, that’s the clubs call.
The online ridicule and bagging of our own players is unwarranted in many cases.

Lighten up. Jesus Christ.

Personally would much before Dow make way before him

do we need them though? id argue a kid could walk in from the draft and contribute as much or more in year one than these blokes do in year 5.

Don't think the club is as heartless as our supporters though lol

They would look at how long both have been at the club, Dow was drafted in 2019 so would be first on the chopping block.

Too many people are hung up on sunk costs and still believe Sonsie just needs a bit more time. But after five years, it's clear the club is wasting resources. Cut him and move on. We are not losing anything valuable.

You may well be absolutely correct, but if the club believes he or they need one more season to be sure they, as a club have given him every opportunity to succeed. I'll back the decision...
I remember Dimma saying when players finish up they want them to feel they have been afforded every chance to succeed... personally I'd want that standard from RFC.
