I’d agree Demanded is too strong a word.
However he was very good and should a spot open up he’d be the first in line.

Kondo was fine but still developing
Johnno looked like he was doing whatever he wanted 90% of the time. Just calm and in control.

how did he go in the vfl? Is he a chance or getting his spot back? One of the many young kids I’m excited about.
I'm a big fan of his and with Redman and Ridley both missing from our backline another quality kick would be pretty valuable. There's way too much emphasis on Roberts doing so much of the rebounding right now.

I think it's fairly easy to argue that Johnson or Nguyen or even Huss might add more to the team than Sharp and Robey right now. We seem to be moving players around so we can play the one's we want.
El-Hawli to defence was a great move. Langford to defence worked ok. But wehn May went down he went forward.
Edwards to the wing not so much - would Johnson or Perkins be better maybe.
Looking forward with May out - lets assume Langford plays tall.
We we need another defender in, maybe it is Johnson.
