The role of the 3rd tall isn't to be a massive goal kicker, we don't need one but if we do you'd rather a guy who crashes packs and has presence like a Rooke than a lead and mark forward

I get what you're saying but I reckon any average AFL forward does very well at VFL level.

17 goals from 20 games this year in the VFL, played in all 3 finals, didn't kick a goal.

Surely he's the son of somebody important at Dees HQ..

I don't think he will be a regular feature in our best 22. It feels like he is just a backup plan as the club did not want to go into a points deficit to match the Riak Andrew bid.

Looks like Pedo's successor. Puts in a good shift as a forward or 2nd ruck. Has some more campaigner about him than Pedo.

Liked the way he competes and how he tries to chase down opponents despite probably never going to get there. He doesn't need to star but if he continues to play the way he does he'll generate some luck. The way he plucked the ball and snagged a goal from nothing is an example. Would have really liked him to kick the sealer. Can't fault him, Gawn missed a much easier one in the first quarter.
