Couldn't care less if he's all Australian or not. He plays for us and that's all I care about. Absolute gun. his defensive work is underrated and that's shown by his Omission from the squad.

I’d still take Saad - nobody gives better run, uses ball well and can lock down when we need him to. It’s actually ridiculous he didn’t make he squad.

Not at all. Machiavellian behaviour would have involved scheming the selectors to ensure Saad didn’t get the AA call up.

I love what Saad did this year however his overall impact in the second half of the year dwindled a lot imho. A non event if you ask me. Franklin was AA Captain last year which lost it's credibility imho

it lost me a long time before the Buddy captain call, for me it dates back to the early 2000's when Pav was named Full Back when he'd been playing on ball, forward, CHB, basically everywhere other than FB and they stuff him in at FB just cause!?!....

The thing is it shouldn't be trash and those on the selection panel shouldn't be allowed to ignore stats just because they like another player better for whatever reason.
