Gone from 0.7 bounces to 6.2 in a couple of seasons. There must be some kind of bounce-related KPI incentive in his contract.

Bull at a gate 100% of the time. Love his work. Hoping he can level down a tad in dying stages of games when he has the ball. That's my only criticism of him.

Yeah. Has developed into a super footballer, easily in our top 5 IMO.
But, he’s had moments in both games thus far where he’s unnecessarily turned the ball over due to hubris.
It’s disappointing play from such an experienced footballer.

Agree. As mentioned, there's times to go and times to slow. He needs to sense the occasion when we need it slow.

There are 18 other players at end of contract this year. It makes sense to get started early on signings. More will occur spaced throughout the year. One year for Saad is fine. Even if he has a troubled year this year, his history would warrant another chance.
Good, he’s absolutely key to our chances over the next [emoji638] years…has really learnt to have some balance to his game between defending and attacking.
Would be good to give him a break or two outside of bye rounds throughout the season, to keep him and his hammys refreshed from fatigue

Excellent. Saad is one of our guns. He is one of the keys to our chances of winning a flag in the immediate 2 year timeframe. Perfect to sign him now and get on with his 2 years.
Great from him that he hasnt pressured us to go beyond 1 extra year. His form and body will dictate that. But he has 2 years of top flight finals level footy in him.
