With football being a subject that makes people from their own opinions, a good footy discussion will get everyone involved, and it doesn't have to include a scandal.
You'll find that most Roo posters are pretty cluey about their footy, most are adults (no offence to any kiddies out there) and most have watched the game and thought about the game for 10-15-20-25-30 years. That in itself is a lot of opinion waiting to be shared, and our forum is the place to share it.
Many of the Roo posters have met eachother which also makes an exchange of opinion more comfortable, as the bulk of us can disagree with 180 degree polarity, without biting eachothers heads off. Friendly debate is what it should be about, and that's what it usually is.
We did have a time last year when the posting war resulted in a lot of rubbish going up, but I'm proud to say that most of our stuff since then has been genuinely football based, of course with the occasional in-joke or non-footy tangent taking place, but hey that's just human nature.
So what I am saying is best of luck in your attempts to catch us, but remember the fable about the tortoise and the hare.
Well most of us on this board have met each other and/or are good friends so thats probably why we always go off topic and talk crap!
90% of our threads start out footy related about after a while we just go off topic and we use the post war as an excuse, but really even if we didn't try to catch your board we would still go off the topic and have our little conversations... thats just how this board works and thats why its so welcoming to everyone!
