Now that he had a taste of AFL, I'm happy for him to continue developing in the VFL

Interesting prospect, there's something there but something off about his movement too. I think it's his in close movement and first few steps need improvement. I'd like to see him play midfield at VFL level for awhile just to get his hands on the ball more and work on moving in the phone box.

He runs good patterns and has good hands. I think we have one here. Won't be a star but will be a solid roleplayer in a selfless role.

I think his physical traits aren't exactly leaping off the page, but there is something there.

As others have said, what that amounts to? No idea.

It's like he gets to the right spots most times but doesn't commit 100% to his action from there, he's a bit hesitant either with dabby kicks or when trying to ankle an opponent or create space. Maybe just needs to believe he belongs and he will start fulfilling what he has

Seems to end up in the right places but has a slight hesitance when he gets there, not sure if it's trying to play to a gameplan and has to 'think' about what to do instead of what's instinctive.

I am waiting for him to be a bit cleaner with the ball before I get too hopeful. Still adjusting to the pace. Seems Perkins-esque in style so far.

i think the more games he spends at the top level the better he'll be, he's got some of the skills, just needs more exposure.

Unconvinced he’s AFL standard (or will be) but it’s early days. Injuries the only reason to have him playing seniors right now.

Yeh hasn’t really had many moments where you really thought oh he belongs, other than kicking that goal in his first game. Back to vfl to build some form

Exactly.

And you only look for moments - little things that show a player has something. Haven’t really seen anything at this point.
