A year in review;

what a whirlwind season its been for the old school looking long necked stallion. After a heater skelter start to the season, averaging 15 possessions and 4.6 marks a game across his first 5 saw him earn an early season debut in round 9, joining that illustrious first - kick - first - goal club.

Although not looking out of place, old habits seemed to die hard and he was inconspicuous at times and often wondering if he was out there. Although invisible, the signs were good and he was not afraid of getting his hands dirty.

Impressing at the lower level, ADW showed signs in a high half forward role, especially in those early games (round 1 - 5 at VFL level). He was asked to play more midfield and had positive moments there as well although not natural.

If he straightens his goal kicking up (5.10 at VFL level, 1.1 at AFL level) then we'll have a handful to deal with. He does so much right, just finish it off and be involved more and ADW can be an AFL player long term. At the moment some easy things why he's likely in the twos.
