I’m not a big fan of potting… but I thought he could have got games from Rd 1. Pity he didn’t, can’t imagine he’s developed all that significantly (physically) between now and then so a bit of wasted opportunity.

Future ahead of him though. Looks like he’ll be exciting to watch develop.

It would be more about the 'craft' than the physical development, surely? Things like understanding our game plan, the usual need to increase defensive capacity that kids need etc.?

In the meantime, yep, he looks like being a beauty. Love the mongrel in him, and the body to back it up.

This kid is going to be special. What a first goal today. His skills and footy smarts appear to be streets ahead of the majority of our list. Maybe it's the confidence of youth but no I think it's just confidence. He has the Dusty Martin fend-off down pat and he even seems to play a bit like him as well. Very exciting.
