I have been holding back some comments on this guy as its a comparison and I don't usually like to do that. But I think he can go along the path, and if can increase his endurance be nearly as good as a player we missed out on but with a better kick. And not just because of the don't argue. He has a lot of traits very similar. If he can increase that endurance look out comp. I also don't like to jump on the hype train but this guy has VERY big potential.

Penetrating great kick. Strength to shrug tackles. Can kick a goal. Tackles well. Confident.

I reckon the club will be looking to delist enough players to upgrade this kid to the senior list at this year's draft.

Very exciting prospect. No point on leaving him on the rookie list.
I didn’t even realise he was on our rookie list

He has the ability to be in our best 22

We should have upgraded him and rookie listed xerri, who most likely would have still been there.
I really don't see the point in a project ruckmen being on the primary list. They're almost certain not to play in the first 2 years.
The rookie list has changed and zurharr will play games regardless. I just think he has and will deserve a better pay cheque than a project ruck who won't play any games. There is also the possibility of other clubs poaching him come years end.

Rookie picks are now just about the paygrade right?
Yep.

Changes to the rookie list
Some significant changes have also been made to how the rookie list will function, and the wages that rookie-listed players will receive.

The rookie list minimum wage will now increase to $71,500 per year, and Category-A listed rookie players (those taken in the rookie draft) will be eligible to play senior football in 2018 without needing to wait for an elevation to the senior list.

Clubs will still be required to list 4-6 Category A rookies, to make a total of 44 combined with the required 38-40 senior listed players.

They will also be allowed to list as many as three Category B rookies (rookies signed internationally, from another sport, or through other unique circumstances), but are notrequired to have any if they do not wish to.

Let's be practical. It now doesn't make a difference.

Edit: Forgive me mods for off topic but also Freo would have taken him if I remember correctly. So no he would not have lasted 40 extra picks.

We picked him at pick 72 and we had pick 4 in rookie draft. 40 picks?
